Beckwith Orchards has been a family owned and operated farm in Portage County, Ohio for 5 generations. We have grown and sold fruit here for over 125 years. Located in Franklin Township just outside of Kent, we offer a family fun outing for all ages.
Our season begins in August with peaches, corn, tomatoes and other seasonal items, and continues through December 24. We have a large variety of tree ripened locally grown peaches, apples and pears, and apple cider in season. Take a stroll through our Orchards and Country Store. Either experience will provide you a heady aroma of fresh sweet smelling fruit. Our Country Store is stocked full of home accents and gourmet food items. While visiting, stop in our bakery for fresh home baked pies and other delicious treats.
No visit is complete for the little ones without a chance to run through our 2 ½ acre corn maze. It is designed with little ones in mind, but fun for all. Check our Calendar of Events to see what weekend activity or performance we are featuring. There is something to interest all.
Additionally we offer prescheduled school and group tours, gift baskets and gift packed apples shipped to your specified destination within the continental United States. We are conveniently located next to the Portage Bike Trail (4 ½ mile trail) and close to other Northeastern Ohio attractions.
